When the above requirement comes into effect, i guess we will be forced to purchase more expensive engive oil distributed my Malaysia local dealer.

Shopee reseller may not be allow to import engine oils from other countries.


I personally don't think it will solve the fake oil issues since fake oil makers can just reprint their label to include SIRIM logo.

Oh no! Just when we have a few unique Japanese brand engine oils that was imported in limited numbers.... Even the metal can Toyota 5/30 that i am using now is from Japang.

I don't fancy that brand.

For me i any original engine oil which meets me engine spec is ok already.

If wan more trust worthy, with their own engine oil manufacturing factory in malaysia, can try hipro too. I am using this brand next.

Any particular reason of not liking the brand?

I mean if you brand neutral I get it but why dislike one? Got previous negative experience?

So far I have been using that for non primary cars, and change engine oil around 7k instead of regular 10k, the result is not bad at all.

Cars used are mainly local or Japanese cars.

Cheap engine oil nowadays are easy to made, most basic additives package already make ready by those big chemical additives company. Just mix with the base oil and wala, new engine oil brand.

Why some brand more expensive as they got do their own marketing, R&D with the additives formula kept as their own & real lab test.
