Majlis hire contractor to repair broken concrete drain in front low cost terrace house. They relocate and make the water meter like this. The whole setup is outside the house perimeter fence.

Above the water meter, there is a letter box. PosLaju bike have to stop close to it in order to insert postage to the letter box.

With such shitty relocation of the water meter, the PosLaju bike hoot and crack the setup.

Can the house owner repair the water meter? Or shall be repair by Majlis?

after repairing, the pos office bike ram again how? :S

Claim from poslaju since they damage your pipe.
Make sure you have solid evidence first before file claim.

Let say the Shitty contractor repair and still the design like this, how many time they gonna repair if PosLaju keep ramming the setup.

Whether the owner can relocate the setup away from harm?

Besides, the leak appears after the meter. The water bill gonna be high leaking non stop.

Put metal pole

Better engage your contractor to repair and at the same time make a brick wall to prevent it from being hit.

Claim home insurance then they will LOD from POS

Actually you can complain to water dept they did not do a good job relocating. Because it was not leaking when it was not relocated.

Air Sgor is in business long time and they know is accident or poor workmanship.

It will not leak unless something hit it. Whether they will bill the customer is another matter but this is an easy diy including erecting a brick wall..

Lodge a report on syabas. If u will be billed for it the contractor will notify u if u still want them to proceed.

If u have before and after pic, the complain syabas as well. They will notify the contractor to come fix it to its original position or they will bill them for it.

Which state? IF KL/Selangor just refer to SYABAS. Anything before meter is their duty to fix. They r quite efficient, most of the time will respond within 24hours.

Get a plumber to fix loh, perhap Rm 100 or so, then put some barrier to prevent other people from knock.

if got budget then some metal barrier
if no budget then some flower and its pot.
