Heard our Malaysian culture got this but under joint bank account

My parent long time ago before marry sudah agree to have private bank account instead of joint .

When i talk with my ex friend and friend, majority are shocked to know my parent never had joint account

Joint account is simple

Basically husband and wife can open

Then each withdraw , husband wife know lo, if u take large amount to go cheong , go curi curi makan, wife know , cross check balance and power struggle

If huge money go missing , hell break loss

If husband or wife withdraw , one of them know, also can done with parent and children also .


Usually joint account open by relationship/ familiar relation , no need sign to withdraw but will send notification to the other party that u withdraw money
