Any recommendations for a twin gas stove which produce the largest flame? Price is usually RM100-200 but can be higher provided it can provide a large flame. Table top design, something like the picture below.

I'm looking for a gas stove which can produce the biggest fire possible like the ones you see in the kitchens of restaurants where cooks stir fry with a big flames of fire. Most commercial gas stoves produce a small fire.

Surely useful as the link you provided is worth exploring. A relative recently bought this but the flame is not exactly big. Upon checking it's 7.5kW + 7.5kW. your pictured one is also considered as small flame ya. https://shopee.com.my/product/180933473/22152298430 this is the biggest home unit i can find 9kw https://shopee.com.my/-NEW-AIWA-10.4kW-9-Je...fb-97d3029b21f0 10.4kw ![]() https://shopee.com.my/product/180933473/22152298430 The first link which you provided is 9kW and I suppose the flame will be larger. Looks good. The picture which I provided above is just an example that I"m looking for a twin gas stove. It can be any model, it's just that the flame of fire needs to be as big as possible. It doesn't need to be like the ones used in commercial restaurants 10kW or higher but the largest possible gas stove with the largest fire for a domestic home/apartment. |

QUOTE(lj0000 @ Jul 24 2025, 04:10 PM) if want big flame, definately wont be in the format of table top twin burner. That one is something new to me. Looks impressive but it won't work as the kitchen already has a table top. It's just that the current gas stove that is already 6 years old doesn't produce a large flame, and it takes a long time to heat the wok, and stir frying with a wok with less heat produces less delicious meals. Boiling water also takes a long time. Hence the intention of upgrading the gas stove to one which is able to produce a larger flame of fire.its always standalone unit with water cooling and compressed air https://shopee.com.my/product/7841977/22254760968 maybe tell us what you are trying to achieve? The one in the link that you provided, I'll keep that in mind if we move to a new place. This post has been edited by ryder_78: Jul 24 2025, 08:58 PM |

more than 5kw you need to have at least 50cm from wall. And there is a reason why commercial cook top is 80-100cm depth compared to residential 60cm counter top. That pic is a disaster waiting to happen.

QUOTE(Part-time Rice Farmer @ Jul 27 2025, 12:15 AM) From the picture the fire looks quite big, but it's not too clear if it's close to the wall. If using a big wok, the gas stove needs to be pushed further out from the wall. If small pots and pans then there wouldn't be any issue. I have a pretty big wok as shown in the picture below. It's exaggerated but it's close. ![]() |

QUOTE(g5sim @ Jul 30 2025, 11:53 AM) I have a smaller size wok like the one in the picture above. If fire not big enough, char kueh tiaw won't taste too nice especially if frying a big portion for 3 people or more. For medium sized wok, frying for 2 portions would be the limit for acceptable quality. The fire or flame also plays a part. If the fire is too small, the kueh tiaw or other dishes won't taste good. |

Two separate gas stoves mean two hoses connected to two gas cylinders. Not really economical that way to me to use two gas cylinders at the same time. But will consider that. Thanks. |
