Hi, firstly u need to compile all the related doc, like death cert, house & car geran, bank account statement, FD cert, share statement, insurance policy & etc. Then go to myland.gov.my, register an account and fill in the details there, then upload all the doc. After that print out the application form and get it stamp at any pesuruhjaya sumpah near u, and then reupload the stamped doc. They will call u once its ready for hearing. I just received the grant or probate letter recently, the process took around 6months and they charged me around RM1.2k before released the probate letter.

Does this charge 2 percent of the assets as fees like Amanah ?

Bayaran yang dikenakan adalah bayaran Fi Perintah tertakluk kepada Peraturan 18, Peraturan-Peraturan Harta Pusaka Kecil 1955. Secara ringkasnya jika jumlah nilaian harta si mati keseluruhannya di bawah RM2 juta, maka bayarannya adalah 0.2% dari nilaian tersebut. (Contoh: Jika harta si mati bernilai RM100,000.00, maka jumlah bayaran Perintah yang dikenakan adalah RM200.00 sahaja). Jika nilaian harta si mati berjumlah RM2,000,001.00 hingga RM5,000,000.00, maka bayarannya adalah 0.3% dari nilaian tersebut.
