i'm considering to buy Pixel 10 256GB as my second phone for work purposes.

my main phone is iPhone 15 256GB bought in Nov 2023.

felt that i need to have another 2nd backup phone from Android. Previously i have Redmi 12. Bought in 2023 but now i felt the phone is becoming sluggish.
But my iPhone 15 2 years still not feeling any lag though.

so main difference between Pixel 10 vs 10 Pro is the 100x zoom, UWB & toned down camera resolutions yes?

also, i'm planning to take FB live for opening & keynote speeches of a conference at hotel via Pixel 10 for let say ~2 hours straight. Will it overheat and get throttled down?

If u getting any android phone with at least snapdragon 8gen2 and upper SOC , u wont feel lag even after 5 year though.

Long time Android close to stock user here. One plus one, one plus 6 and now Motorola edge p30. I'm looking forward to get the Pixel 10 pro 256gb . Saw in Reddit some countries don't have all the features that Pixel offered like call screening, crash detection etc. Would appreciate if someone could identify what feature is not available in MY.

Also the cheapest offer is through maxis RM3899 without trade in and normal contract+ rm139 postpaid plan. I remember vaguely when the apple new version launched last year the price of pixel dropped. What are the chances this year?. Thank you in advance

Quite disagree it won't lag after five years. Usually phone can feel quite sluggish after one major update after three years lifespan.
Maybe exception to phone that using pure android os like pixel,one plus or nothing though.

Bro , i been using snapdragon 865 , snapdragon 888 , 8gen1 , 8gen2 , mediatek 9400+ now , the snapdragon 865 xiaomi 10t with 144hz stil buttery smooth for daily usage , as long as u using snapdragon flagship that manufacture by TSMC , u are good to go with over 5 year easily. Only the snapdragon 888 and 8gen1 give me more heat and high power consumption because this two chip was manufacture by samsung , other than that it stil super smooth for daily usage.


The reason if u feel your phone drop performance wasn't because of SoC , might be your battery health drop lower than 80% , at that point , ur phone performance will starting give u trouble, what u need to do is just replace new original battery, and you will surprise that your phone will suddenly come back the performance.

Pixels are mid-range...not flagship...

I think the camera AI stil need work hard to compete with china brand.

AI camera foto quality, Chinese Fon number 1. Now waiting for China Fon makers to do the same AI magic in video recording.

I believe the coming mediatek 9500 and 8Elite 2 SOC will make the camera AI processing even more REAL and LESS AI-Effect , because the more powerful SOC , the more it can give perfect calculation on final image.

In October we will know. Thinking this time to buy the Oppo Find X9 series since I like Color OS so much. Just worry how much those Shower sellers will hike up the phone price
