Hey all.
It's not mine, it belong to my friend, and we're currently studying in Japan now.
We went to a Apple Stores around Shinsaibashi, and the staff there couldn't speak English, and we weren't able to tell him our problem clearly.
So I decided to ask here.
Here's the problem, he been transferring movies from PC to his iPod for the past few days, and been having problem, and kept reformatting. The problem is, his 80GB iPod, could only hold a maximum 2GB of stuff, and the iTunes won't let him transfer any videos anymore. He been trying over and over again.
Still doesn't work.
Anyone here have the same problem? Or just him?

Please help, thank you in advance.

get it swapped for a new one.
the maximum file size for any one particular file cannot be above 2GB but... that's not an issue here...

Yea, I told him he could get it swapped for a new one as he just bought it like 2 weeks ago, still under warranty.
But then the staff at the Apple Store told us that the iPod has no problem, after leaving the store, we head to an Internet Cafe and tried to place some files over 2GB in, but the problem is still there, I don't even know if it's a problem.
He transferred the files one by one, and each of them is only about 200mb, not a single file over 2gb.

Indeed, iPod uses FAT32 and the max file size for AVI is 2Gb which is correct. Try converting AVI files to MP4 before transferring to iPod.
