my impression is tht the zoom out optical lens (i hope u understand,wat do u call it) is better than the built in ones tht dont zoom out when u power on it....but the one tht comes out, the mechanism is more prone to damage than build in one right cuz it involves more mechanical movement , my previous digicam was dmg due to tht....wat is one's advantages over the other??
