I'm going to start a new life, so I'm thinking of starting a business.

I'm thinking house and office tinting; just a small one.

I've done some calculation and found two suppliers and managed to find one person to work for me; he's good at his job and he's my friend.

Is this a good idea? Or maybe this is my manic episode. I'm afraid it's the latter.

Any suggestions that I can use to start my new business?

Thanks guys

DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE THIS VENTURE.

YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT, FRIENDS SHOULD REMAIN FRIENDS, NOT BUSINESS PARTNER.

Good business to start since there's no need for any physical shop. Low start-up. I'm in a business that always engage the services of building tinting services. Here's few pointers to a successful building tinting business ;

- Good business name, easy to be remembered
- Good and easy to be keyed-in phone number
- Have budget for marketing. No one knows you till you tell them
- Make sure installer is skillful and neat (training and listen to comments)
- Build up a portfolio by offering irresistible offer initially to get some customer
- Good working discipline (Protect client's property, clean, etc)
- Make good on warranty

Irresistible offer, pricing is it?
I'm starting at 4.50 persqf and the price will be more based on the quality of the tint.
Is it good enough?

Should I take half deposit?

I'm learning now. But I've found some experienced worker to do the work and I'll learn from them
