Some of my friends DC on Leotheras. I myself will confirm DC on Teron Gorefiend unless I set everything to LOW. For Teron, as soon as we go the balcony and raid starts casting I DC

Anyone has random disconnects on certain encounters? It doesn't seem like TMNut problem, just that the PC suddenly frame rate mati katak. Ever since I installed Vista, I have been having this problem. My PC is a Q6600 2gb RAM with 8800GT. (no i don't watch pr0n while WoWing grrr)

Have you run the Repair.exe which located inside your WoW installation folder? Try running it and see if that solves the problem. But if it can't is probably memory leak issue with Vista? Also they will be some graphical fixes/changes/improvement on 2.3 patch.

I have no real idea about the main problem you are facing, but quick solution (by no means permanent) would be to face the other opposite side/against a wall and cast. The main problem with Teron is that you all will gather in one small area and thus your FPS will definitely dip with all the casting occuring.
However, with your spec, it doesnt seem that it should be a problem unless there is something else running at the background or that you have a lot of unnecessary mods. |

I mean i really hardly ever experience such lag. And for such a prolonged period of time is just distressing. Especially when 24 other ppl are relying on me to raid. zzz.

This maybe? Anyway, my disconnects are random as well but as it gets later into the night, seems to get more stable. But I usually have to turn off my web browser and any other program as well as sound options. |
