I would like to know from some guru’s here regarding the below;
Property done SPA with Lawyer Firm A, however when requesting a total quote for POT & POC and all charges included from Lawyer A, they provide me a quote higher compared to Lawyer Firm B that I was able to identify. ( This includes professional fees,disbursements, MOT stamp duty and SST)
Based on my understanding of your go back to the same lawyer you will be able to get a better pricing, so I wonder how come Law Firm A quoted me higher than Law Firm B.
The question is;
1. what are the advantages and disadvantages to going with the same lawyer being Lawyer Firm A in this case?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of if I were to go with the Lawyer Firm B instead?
3. Will any issue arise or a delay in documentation or legally due to going with Lawyer B?
4. Is there cost I should be aware of that Lawyer Firm B is not telling me about that I should be aware of for appointment of new lawyer?
Appreciate your kind inputs, still a noob when it comes to legal matters for property and thus hoping to hear from the ones who knows this section better.
