You know, during the last meeting with the hospital higher ups to discuss the ongoing manpower shortage at the outpatient specialist clinic....

Their solution to the long wait time (>90 mins) was to set a time limit of 5 minutes for each patient.

Lmao as if all our patients are straight-forward cases, some need surgeon consultation, some need outgoing referral or imaging.

Yes, we raised concern that this will affect patient's quality of care because this will incentivize doctors to just clear their pending cases instead of taking the time to see the patients holistically.

Totally iswept under the rug and they gave themselves a pat on their backs after mesyuarat bersurai kek

Nowadays if a patient that I am seeing complains of long waiting time or short consult I just ask them to make a formal complaint via sispa.
