I think our 3 year old daughter has some anxiety issue. She easily gets frustrated and anxiety for some time already. Because of that she doesn't have friend in the playschool. although our niece ajak to play with her but she usually didn't bother. I think this could be because of what happen last year that she was hospitalized for 1.5 month in ICU because of her seizure.

Anyone know any good child psychologist? Want to get some consultation and initial check.

u want to save money, just go to any psychiatry unit in a public hospital

people with epilepsy have much higher chances of having psychiatric issues like depression, anxiety and psychosis.

i hated my childhood with my social anxiety, you are doing the right thing to get her help at a young age.

do not stop the help until shes an adult

not sure the fees in um is still free now. recently relative also masuk um for psych issues, though final bill only charged us for the ward. prior to this, clinic psych also said is free, was shocked when we all found out together wasnt free.

cuz since 2025 jan they changed up how they charge, better to call and confirm first.

UM have a very good child Paediatrics, Professor Dr Subhashini Jayanath. Among the best in Malaysia
but they will do a lot test - hearing, speech, eye test before you landed an appointment with her.
My journey for my daughter took me almost 2 years until i landed appointment with her for an 1 hour session.

Check this link , i been to Prince court and got charged Rm680/session and UM charge me Rm15 for each session.

for me, Dr Ranjini S Sivanesom is consider the best in the Malaysia. but waiting time is just too long to get an appointment for her at KL GH -Kuala Lumpur Women and Children Hospital unless you sees her at Prince court each time.

I brought my eldest there when he was 3 because he had some issues with easily being triggered and crying for an hour+. About 6 months then ok already, but parents also must be involved in the process la.

Its not cheap, but not that expensive also. I think its a good place to get started before deciding if you need further help. At least don't have to wait months to years for appointments.

Anxiety is manageable with benzodiazepine but I would not recommend it at a young age.

I think your child might have autism; which as you described has social disorder.

But She can give eye contact and talk a little, 3 words in a sentence like that

To people she knows is possible to interact normally but I have a friend with also a girl with autism, socially its a bit off, might want get it checked.

Have a proper doctor to evaluate, it will help if known earlier, then you can adjust your lifestyle according to your daughter.
