I wonder whether tomorrow 15th public holiday is counted for whole day off peak or normal peak/off-peak rate?
*
I think no, only 16/9 off-peak.

not all electricity supply are managed by TNB..

I wonder why the ST not make it mandatory for all Licensee in the country to comply.

It is extremely frustrating that these Licensees say it is not mandatory for them to implement smart meter. hence, no TOU for the payor. That's ridiculous!

Got my 1st month bill under TOU. I can say it's more savings for me.. allot of my usage is off peak so I guess it made sense for me to switch. Calculated my EV charge for the month is also around 175kwh.

Did a comparison between my non TOU bill for the same kwh usage and with TOU it's still cheaper.

One of my rented out props, 3 of the room tenant using aircond mostly to sleep at night.

Tnb bill really high 800-1000kwh monthly. It would be best to use this scheme

Interesting. The only time I've seen unexpected* increases are for non-tou->tou transition bills where both bills were charge 8% SST for kWh used due to a TNB rule which states that bills which have a billing period of less than 28 days are charged SST irregardless of kWh.

*unexpected because we weren't aware of this rule, not because it's a hidden rule. It's stated on TNB's website and is printed on the old format bills but not printed on the new format bills.

Anybody has issues like me trying to view the hourly usage of my home? The website is either slow, can't connet or keep bouncing back to the main page. It's been like this for a while now. If I am lucky, i would be able to view it.

It's always been like that. I started using the dashboard mid of August for the usage.csv files. Always, reload, reload, pusing, too many redirects, etc...

There was a good day where I downloaded usage files for 100+ days. Other days, it's 10-15 mins of trying then giving up and coming back later for another 10-15 mins before I can download the usage for yesterday.

Last few days not accessible since TNB has been doing maintenance. Hopefully they'll improve it. That is, if they get it back up. Whatever maintenance they did has totally screwed up the dashboard.

Anyway according to the notices on myTNB web, the maintenance is scheduled to end on:
1. 21 Sep 4PM
2. 22 Sep 11:30PM
3. 24 Sep 11:30PM
4. no more date given... sweat.gif

It's really sad that they can't keep it functional. It is a very good dashboard.

Finally managed to download all my usage data from TNB energy dashboard. 803 days. Oldest I have is 30/7/2023 but incomplete so 31/7/2023.

What is the oldest data available for yours?

Smart meter was installed Nov 2020.

May as well graph all that data.
