QUOTE(M2020 @ Jun 22 2025, 05:25 PM) Please share some info or tips. shops will tell you there is a risk of damage to protect themselves... and it is a real possibility from many aspects...I checked Internet and this is possible with different methods, contrary to what local shops said but would like to hear from real people. Thank you. the glue will also stick harder to the elements than the glass... if the tint breaks off just leave it and come back with adhesive remover later,,, i diy removed mine on suzuki swift... just have to be careful and do it slowly... no problem at all... shops with vastly more experience than me should be able to manage it ok... ps... just to add... mine got no bubbles... just discoloration from decals... bubbles probably mean the glue is weak so should be easier to remove... best to remove early before the low quality film turns brittle and you will be dealing with 5 sen size pieces everytime you try to peel it off... My sis bezza also same...
Even my maibi also same... Ask perodua.... Perodua say need send car to service center to take pic... After that send pic to HQ to see can approve warranty claim or not.... If approve, send to 3rd party workshop to reapply... While process may take few weeks...... |

For Perodua, if you are using ori tint, you should be covered under warranty as long as you didn't go stick another layer on it. If not mistaken, they will replace it with the demister if it breaks.
Also, it depends on the quality of the tint and workmanship. Mine I previously installed not so good tint, hence the bubble. So went to get it replaced at the same time, the guy at the tinting shop just ripped it out without any concerns. So yea demister gone just like that. But lucky for me I rarely use demister as I've rear wipers. If done properly and correctly, it can be removed without any damage. Fyi, the tinting shop I'm referring to is canny SS15 |
