To be specific, it was from JB - Kajang last Sunday at noon time, and there were too many cars on the road, making it difficult to drive at 140 km/h in the right lane at that point. Hence, doing 100-110 km/h in the left lane is the best decision, especially combo with Singapore FM Station (their music choices are better than any English FM here).

Many Malaysians just do not want to admit that subsidies kills a nation. By that I mean, people have gotten so used to "current" price that any increase, they see it as uncaring.

For me, not being a high mileage driver per month, the increase will be felt during the fist few months, before I start to feel numb to it and becomes normal.

Question always comes where, what does the Gov do with the savings. Schools and hospitals as PMX said? I wish it was true. I really do.

Drive the Savvy more often instead of the Exora for sure.

My take, just remove all the subsidies, remove SST and bring back GST. Welfare program for B40 who meets the criteria. Its easy on implementation rather than trying to saying, we wont penalize the majority and only T10 la t5 la, yang have to pay more!

I really envy your accord fc, my exora turbo even drive at that same relaxed speed, only gets 8L per 100km or slightly better. (around 12.6km/l)

back in 2019-2020, drove office car, Preve CFE, yeah can confirm that CFE drank fuel almost like Alphard v6 on the highway. Drove 120-140kmh for long distance highway, sometimes 150kmh for cutting lanes, IIRC getting less than 10km/l. Not sure that was the norm for CFE or that car rarely put proper maintenance.

My car when heading 200k km (current at 240+km) the FC getting worsen, until I change the Oxygen Sensor both sides, upstream and downstream, then good FC return back. Plus, I keep using the recommended EO viscosity of 0w20 Fully Synthetic even at that mileage, no engine oil drop whatsoever.

For my other car, 1st gen Iriz 1.6L, I change and gamble to 0w20 FS oil and kinda improve the FC a bit

and if drive too fast and met accident, they will admit to government hospital and pay cheap when discharge. all these luxury made people taking granted. If people living in majority develop country. their gasoline price is

expensive, they need to pay summon. they need to have medical card. if they met accident and dont have medical card. their life will be fuckup. all these hardship will create society that valued live, value everything.

sometime we need to have expensive fuel, 2 point awas camera, expensive hospital bills and etc as all these will shape malaysian mentality to become more responsible.

Another fellow who abide to law but no courtesy and common sense. I’ve seen enough heavy vehicle “tailgating” slow moving cars and those car don’t give way. Causing more trouble to lorry drivers making them make worse decision on the road. All because “I follow law. Suka hati la I drive slow in middle lane”.

Pay debt for sure, and give more allocation to development fund instead of managing fund. Put VAT to tackle black economy, those businesses with hanky panky parts, but what on earth this Madani scared of them

Take an example. A Myvi travel about 1500km monthly and average fuel cost is RM400 (this is high fuel consumption) or nearly 200 litres of fuel. If gov remove RM0.50 subsidy for RON95, mean about RM100 extra. TBH if one cannot afford to pay extra RM100 for fuel then he or she should not drive or drive less. In reality there are many times I saw people simply drive out without purpose. Or driving a 5km distance just to buy a RM5 bread from bakery shop while nearby house walking distance got speedmart.

Even if the RON95 reduce of 50% subsidy I guess most people will angry and upset for a while then back to normal.

this is when we ask to take MRT, LRT, they said can't walk 400-600meter, need to drive, cz petrol + office carpark are more convenient. This is similar to many who die2 double park in front of the shop they want to go instead of parking properly, same, can't walk a bit.
And daily to KL from anywhere, majority are with single driver every time, due to the acceptable ron95 price. Try RM2.70 per liter as last time, many are taking the Komuter, buying motorcycles, and the M40 is purchasing extra small cars like Kelisa, Viva, and Kancil.

Many people misunderstood one thing. They always blame that taking MRT, LRT and buses are less convenient and time consuming. They expect paying RM50 myrapid pass they can enjoy the public transport drop by their house and within 1 hour arrive to their 20km away office.

In reality the public transport is more time consuming just like other countries which have advance public transport also same time consuming. In their countries driving car is always more fast and convenient but very high cost, whereby in Malaysia is ultra cheap fuel price as sitting in world no. 8 cheapest fuel. Our fuel price is lower than Saudi Arabic who 2nd largest oil producer while Malaysia is no. 25. Those who keep saying Malaysia is oil producer need to sell cheap they need to correct their mindset.

the completion of MRT2 Putrajaya line, the ride from Ampang park to Kajang MRT is less than 1 hour. Compared to previously needing to combo MRT - LRT, 1 hour- 1h 10minutes. But again, most don't wanna walk to the station and prefer stucked at Jalan Tun Razak instead

My cousin her house to nearest MRT2 station is only 500m and best part is she only need to transit at TRX for MRT1 to reach her workplace within 1 hour. The MRT1 station is located right in front of her workplace, less than 200m walk from MRT1 station to her office building. But yet she choose to drive and stuck at traffic for 1 hour. The reason is she has more freedom to drive and can go anywhere after work if needed. Ironically she never go any place after work instead everyday straight heading home. Speeding RM1200 for her RM100k new car, RM200 for season parking and RM300 for petrol, yet the myrapid pass monthly only RM50.

It is extremely hard to persuade people who already pampered to drive unless the cost of driving increase a lot to force them to take public transport.

Thought the government has been going back to their own words since the beginning of the administration, no?
