I just recently subscribed to GET to escape ICPT up to 1700 kwh by subscribing 2 blocks. Now there is a chance it is going to be revised to 1000 kwh threshold instead of 1500 kwh,

Haha, bodoh, the rate increase above 1500 kwh is exactly 10 cents per kwh which is exactly the rate of 1 year GET
Now i have to pay penalty to cancel , MCB |

I think i will switch to ToU because this 4 cents per kwh would make a lot of different, for example i can buy at least 2 kfc dinner plate per month with the saving

QUOTE(reversependulum @ Jun 22 2025, 08:23 AM) The new tariff is to specially screw the solar users by separating out the network charge from the total tariff I might be wrong but the solar output support the grid during time of maximum demand. If what you say is correct than that basically will kill off the demand for solar panel installation The less solar earn the more TNB earn Better buy TNB shares then install solar Unless they have achieved their objective and it is time to screw us This post has been edited by backspace66: Jun 22 2025, 08:37 AM |

QUOTE(N9484640 @ Jun 22 2025, 09:32 AM) "The ToU scheme is optional and is offered only for customers with Smart Meter and Current Transformer (CT) meter or Remote Meter Reading (RMR) meter." You are right, now it might not even be enough to pay for 1 kfc dinner plate considering i pay more during peakThis means either one will qualify you to apply for ToU. As for my previous question, its still not 4 cents ....you cant compare ToU with ToU rates but ToU with Standard rates. |
