I just recently subscribed to GET to escape ICPT up to 1700 kwh by subscribing 2 blocks. Now there is a chance it is going to be revised to 1000 kwh threshold instead of 1500 kwh,

look like they going to impose off peak/peak electricity tariff, better charge your EV during night time
*
Or charge during peak output of solar panel so none is exported.

Mana ada rm11.

If use 1000kWh, even on solar will need to pay extra rm128 for caj rangkaian
*
So how about icpt? After 1500 kwh, another round of 10 cents per kwh

No more ICPT,

The rates (cents/kWh) is now fixed at 1 price for below 1500kWh and one price above 1500 kWh

I am curious to what is the impact on existing GET subscription in this new scheme and if there is any point in continuing the subscription

Haha, bodoh, the rate increase above 1500 kwh is exactly 10 cents per kwh which is exactly the rate of 1 year GET

Now i have to pay penalty to cancel , MCB

anyone has a calculation for NEM user?
*
NEM 3.0 is based on 1:1 kwh basis right. So that should be the same

I think i will switch to ToU because this 4 cents per kwh would make a lot of different, for example i can buy at least 2 kfc dinner plate per month with the saving

The new tariff is to specially screw the solar users by separating out the network charge from the total tariff

The less solar earn the more TNB earn

Better buy TNB shares then install solar
*
I might be wrong but the solar output support the grid during time of maximum demand. If what you say is correct than that basically will kill off the demand for solar panel installation

Unless they have achieved their objective and it is time to screw us

"The ToU scheme is optional and is offered only for customers with Smart Meter and Current Transformer (CT) meter or Remote Meter Reading (RMR) meter."
This means either one will qualify you to apply for ToU.

As for my previous question, its still not 4 cents ....you cant compare ToU with ToU rates but ToU with Standard rates.

You are right, now it might not even be enough to pay for 1 kfc dinner plate considering i pay more during peak
