Would like to ask if anyone here working at local bank as program manager? What's the the difference with project manager?

Mind share the job scope of program manager? Interviewed recently for project manager at a local bank, but offered program manager instead.

Asked HR when offered the role, HR said job scope is the same with project manager. Reporting to the same boss too. Maybe the for this bank, job scope is the same, but other banks are different? Just wanted to have info on that

Yep thats what in my mind too, but when asked HR specifically, HR said job scope the same with project manager

i do think this is the case, since i've checked both job description for both position in in Linkedin is the same. Maybe just to fill in headcount.
