KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Najib Razak has been granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) in his RM27 million SRC International Sdn Bhd money laundering case. Justice K Muniandy made the ruling in the High Court this morning.
Najib’s counsel Shafee Abdullah submitted last week that it was unfair for his client to wait indefinitely for a fixed trial date as the prosecution was unable to provide a timeline to gather exhibits used in the previous SRC trial.
The court was told that 807 exhibits were tendered in the earlier SRC trial.

DNAA edi… unless the AGC can get the data that they failed to get the for so long….. if they cannot get them after so long, what makes you think they can get them in the near future?

Why are the prosecution team unable to process the evidence in due time? Why on earth they taking their damn sweet time? Is it because the evidence is not strong enough?
Now it's crystal clear who is better at upholding rule of law and fighting corruption. During PN time bijan case was fought all the way to apex court without wavering. Under PH/madani the only ones getting convicted are those falsely accused. Petty crimes all confirm masuk lokap meanwhile Helangs corrupt as shit all get dnaa.

Najib got convicted in high court all the way to federal court under PN/PuAS. Not in any PH term. Under PN/PuAS Najib had zero ways out. But under PH he got so many ways out.
I think PH is rallying with Najib/BN more than PuAS ever did.. If Najib's trial was still on going in PH era, he would have been DNAA-ed just like Zahid Hamidi.

After his pardon and account for good behavior and holiday discounts, he will probably be back out latest by next year

So if none of his other cases go through, he will be back out very soon. And if they win and continue to be in power, probably his other cases won’t continue to be pursued by AGC and it will be all over
Funny how everyone’s suddenly a legal expert the moment a verdict doesn’t fit their script. These 🤡🤡🤡 screamed for the courts to decide; now that they have, it’s suddenly all “incompetence” and “conspiracy”? Maybe the real issue isn’t the DNAA… maybe it’s an addiction to outrage.
If the prosecution was dragging its feet, the judge was right to call it out. That’s how the justice system is supposed to work. You can’t keep chanting “rule of law” while throwing tantrums when the gavel doesn’t swing your way.
