my dual 8800m gtx eta is around 16 may~ just placed the order today :3 will post my benchmark then ! for now im getting crappy 8.6k 3dmark06 from my 8700m -.-" anyway nice thread here .. wondering if any of u guys uses the lcd protector for ur laptop ?

only upgrade if u can get the gskill cl4 timings from newegg.com or using xp64/vista n play crysis/ass creed (else no use to upgrade..)

in mobility standard u still have the best config mobile computing can go

what lappy ur using ? dont think u can use the 8700m gt on ur lappy even if u can use it most lappy that capable of supporting 8700m gpu already have em installed(its like the min config before sli>8800)
when i do get my 8800 my 8700 sli will stay inside store for a very long time

not sure.. too many things u haveto consider lol .. the compartment size could be different for the 8700m to slot in.. also ur lappy cooling efficiency n ability to direct heat out of ur system (try browse hp u.s site n see if ur model have upgrade option to 8600's or better if they have 8700m gt )

o.O; must get 8600gt.. even i play crysis medium setting got lag ~>,<~

try play around with ur ntune like ->3d settings-> all options that has 'application controlled' click em or check ur batt settings like mine (max performance on batt)

with 1530 no prob full effect (just not above 4x aa in wow setting) or ur gc gonna go hot and lower ur lappy performance~

jason :3 when u have the core 2 duo label <- preety much can play any game that exist now .. the higher speed only helps the loading time and ur ram yes but not that 'wow' .. in gaming (to ur question on the playable with full effects) = its all about ur graphic card ~~

anyone here try yet to benchmark their lappy again with the new sp3 ? see if its improve?~ im getting a huge leap on fps dunno if its rly sp3 or few settings i'd change in ntune x.x
