Can anyone recommended a better solution for me? This LED driver powers a strip light for my kitchen area. But every once in awhile it keeps blowing out. Don’t know how many times I’ve replaced this already.

1) buy from good manufacture like mean well (MW) beware of fake one.

2) check how many A (AMPERE) your device u are using and buy with higher Amp

Example
Your device using 10A total then u buy 15 A or more.

I think your current device always blow due to below A or sort circuits

Contoh : 10A but only give 5A for it.

your house voltage too high. china voltage is 220 only
ours is 240 and above.

get a wider voltage type
example meanwell. can handle 260v

but then again, your led how many watt/current?

That power supply has stated input power of 220V ±15% which means 187~253VAC.

Anyway, the official voltage for Malaysia is actually 230VAC

unofficial voltage is 240.
if you stay near to transformer is 433/1.732 = 250v

Thanks for the input guys! Ok so I went to lighting shop and people there recommended a Meanwell driver. Cost RM60 (3x the china driver! But hey got 3 years warranty so ok lah)

Gave me a 100w one because they said the 60w kept blowing because it’s not enough W. The (original) china one was there when my contractor did the lightning, so didn’t know any better tongue.gif

Anyways, thanks guys! 🙏🏻
