Never really heard those brands.
What is your current battery brand ?
Have you considered Century Amaron batteries ?

Motolite heard before. Basic battery, nothing to shout about.
Amaron the rave for long lasting battery. Century marathoners also good but expensive.

end up getting Motolite by century.

Paid RM125 including delivery and install and trade in.
turns out the old battery already 3.5 years (the mechanic got write the installation date). Brand is EUROPOWER made in Korea.

Motolite got written "heavy duty", so I guess it should last long?

the best battery I used before was Panasonic MF. 4 years still going strong.

OGAHI final price was only RM109. but decided to topup abit to get a more reputable brand.

Stay away from Battery Resident in Shopee as shared by BL98

Morning I place an order on Battery Resident's Shopee., immediately WhatsApp me for location. I asked him when coming he said today fully book. Only tommorow can get booking slot. WTF. Change battery need 24 hrs meh?

By evening time I couldn't wait I canceled my order on Shopee.
I WhatsApp the seller said that he should inform customer that needs 24hr time to come install the battery.

He got the balls to say "No need to inform. You should know this is Shopee". Quite rude to its customer.

Go and read other people review on Google Map. Their rating is only 2.6 stars

Just had mine changed last week. Not much fuss. Convenient and straightforward. My car was parked in my house and could not start in the morning.

On the day itself at 11am, I asked about availability before placing order. They said can come after 6pm. At 6.30pm he whatsapp the ETA which is 45 minutes. He finally arrived around 8PM, took 5 minutes to swap the batteries.

They never promised the timing, which is understandable due to the unpredictable traffic condition. But ultimately battery was changed with no fuss.

At the price paid, I have no complaints. In fact the whole experience was really smooth.

They are hard working people providing affordable services. This is what I feel we should support.

Based on previous experience, if call nearby tyre shop to come change on-site, will be at least RM200 for the battery and extra RM50 for the delivery and service fee.

If you had to wait for more than 24 hours, just like SleeplessEyes for a battery replacement, is that OK for you and would you still support such a business ?

If emergency I would not order from shopee/lazada.

This method is only for those who have time or is flexible in timing.

I would ask the seller first if they are available for same day on site installation first then only proceed with ordering.

If really really emergency, better get nearby tayar shop/mechanic to change battery. Of course the cost won't be the same lo.

Even my car can't even move due to automatic gear cable bush destroyed, a guy from bateriku came over and help me to call his mechanic friend to help me on the spot, then they did something inside the engine, managed to drive the car till his friend workshop and get my car fixed around 45 mins
