🔫 Late‑Night Shooting at Viva Home Shopping Mall, Cheras (KL)






In the early hours of June 17, 2025, at around 12.01 a.m., a shooting occurred just outside the main entrance of Viva Home Shopping Mall in the Cheras area of Kuala Lumpur. The incident tragically resulted in the deaths of two Chinese men, believed to have been shot on-site.


At least 4 gunmen had laid an ambush and waited in hiding. As soon as the 2 Chinese men appeared, they opened fire in rapid succession, fatally shooting both victims.





Both victims died at the scene.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the shooting occurred near the MY NEWS convenience store located on the lower ground floor of the shopping mall.




Authorities responded immediately, and the police forensic unit (Crime Scene Investigation Team) was dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough examination and collect evidence. As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified, and the motive remains under investigation.

Local media outlets report that CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts are being reviewed as part of the investigation. The public is awaiting further updates, including details on any arrests, police statements, or surveillance video releases.
