Recently my samsung fold not working, totally blank screen and no response no matter what I do.

Went to samsung service centre, the repair cost around RM 2,800, when I ask is it possible to recover the data from this phone, the reply is I need to pay the repair cost to make it work first before recovering the data and in additional that no promise the phone will work properly upon repair....

Just want to know is it that the case from your all experience, as it is costly to pay RM 2,800 just to recover the data.

who says by paying 2800 you will get back your data? all SC tnc states that they will not be responsible for data loss

have you tried usb c cable to hdmi yet?

no bvackup? samsung account or google drive auto back up no use?

tried asking quote from third party repair shop...?

If you really need to recover the data, I would suggest seeking the help of proper data recovery companies.

Plug in usbc to HDMI? Cast to tv.
Some usbc got USB sekali. Plug in keyboard mouse

hmmm...might not be screen rosak. Could be something else that cause to phone to die.

If the board is the problem, they will change the board for you and there goes your data. And from the way you mentioned, high probability is the board problem.

The service centre did mention on something burned, but I didn't really listening after he say the price of RM 2,800...

Any good recommendations? Near Bandar Utama area.

Apparently, no back up for this phone...

Try google. There are a few but usually they do recovery from hard drives and ssds.

Do anyone got any recommended for repair guys, that what I need is to take the data from the fold, irrespective the fold subsequently function or not. Thanks in advance.
