Is it true?

12 hours a day without rest day, if earning RM2000 per month, hourly rate = RM2000/(12*30) = RM5.55?

should be around 7.20/h

14–16 hours

not legal.

Plus OT = RM5000, no need pay income tax, car loan, house loan... all send back to Bangladesh...

are they foreigners?

most that i see work 12 hours per day gaji above 2k semua. idk about transport/accomodation but rarely do i see below 2k unless they are either foreigner (hell even foreigner get 2k nowadays) or part-time guard

and doctor complain stress

unless u are with those established security guard firm who follow the law minimum wages.

every day, few hundreds visitors/residents going in and out of a condo/ G&G taman..... sure got at least 10 unreasonable , violent ones.

yes, foreigners and mostly from Nepal. Unarmed.

Depends what job they actually do. Keep a look out all the time ready for attach, rifle ready, continuous scanning surrounding.

What is the security jobscope?
I experience a lot that duduk guard house maen phone and pissed off the residents.
Doc working is non stop and stressful.

Really？ The security guard in my condo, they can't play phones. Most of the time I just saw them standing but never see them play phones.

For Nepalese guard, they are paid around RM1700 + OT (Exceed 48 hrs per week)

On top of that the company will provide transporation and accommodation for them.

I asked 1 Bangla who earning Rm1800 a month. He said for the same job in Bangladesh...he gets less than Rm1000 a month

If not why they eat rice with cucumber only.. or even rice with salt only

Here, fresh graduates RM3,000 + mummy/daddy kasi topup only can survive... if not? at most can afford Nasi + potato + cucumber only

Some security guards need to check renovation company lorries and vans as well.

For example, in places like EcoWorld, after 5 or 6 PM, renovation company vehicles are not allowed to enter.

If anyone or any vehicles from the renovation company remain inside the residential area beyond 5 PM or 6 PM, the security guards from the property company may issue a penalty or summon to them.

The moment you go out and drive to work you risk yourself to accidents.

Nepal-la. Permit onli for Nepali, no banglas. Kalo ada kena tangkap including kompeni and those who hire them.

I pity them really, some of them are forced to work 24 hours because their upcoming shift did not show up. Or the fact there are Datuks that scold them whenever they are just doing their jobs by clamping the car with instruction from management.
I do respect the guards for doing their job.

Same. I was told that they do not have rest day at all. Everyday works and 12 hours job. Although is easy job just to stand and see left, see right, but still tired coz just wait to past time.

I will buy food for them sometimes. Just once or twice a week.

I have no way to confirm it, but I am not surprised if it is true, which I think it is.
