A&W really need a more aggressive approach for marketing, most of the time ppl go it's for nostalgia feeling.

They need a much more linear focus on what they sell. Maybe having kiosk that sells few most popular items only. Root bear, coney dog, waffle and with ice cream options.

reduce the size of root bear, maybe a new ice-cold takeaway design, use Malaysia hot weather as advantage.

Having the mascot around shopping area would help as well, oh and a zero no sugar version of root bear would sell too.
