Nope. But need to take out the screws for the bumper at the fender. But still quite tricky to take the headlamp out. Especially for Waja CPS coz the HID ballast are attached under the headlamp.

Correct. But one LED would not take as mush power as you think (About 40 milliwatts). Try connecting a 1.5volt battery to an LED an see how long it last. laugh.gif I think the VS blown because of wrongly attached polarity
