Well we tried “real”Malaysians for years
Decades with appalling results even going as lowly as 170 world ranking

I’m in support of this initiative if it brings result

Just to add on it most are heritage players and not naturalised

Indonesians started the mass recruitment

Back then more than 10 years ago Singapore started with naturalized but wasn’t very successful
Most were Grade C barely any grade B and almost none have Sg root
