Liow orders bus limiters for all buses

Transport minister says the ruling was made three years ago and he wants it implemented immediately in view of the rising number of road accidents.

PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai has ordered all express and intercity buses to install speed limiters immediately.

I hope bus associations will not protest like hell mcm in 2016....  talk easy but u know all these bus companies control by who la... hope this anthony can do something besides keep selling plate numbers..

Last month I took express bus from Kanazawa to Kyoto.

260km, bus stopped twice at R&R, each time 10 minutes.

Every stop, before passengers can go down, bus driver went down to place wheel stoppers on the front wheel. 

The ticket cost - RM150 (4 seats per row). Seat got safety belt & power plug.

If Msian bus could charge half the price, I guess the service quality could greatly improve.

But with RON95 at RM2.05, many will feel it's cheaper to drive 260km IF bus ticket gonna cost RM75/pax.

The irony is, it's not within Ah Loke's hand. All these cartel are already part of the public service already, well embedded for decades during the BN times.
Selagi ada selective social econmic policies, this will continue on the pretext of asalkan orang kito.
