Does anyone has battery issue like overnight (during sleep), the "FIND MY" app eating a lot of phone battery?

Sometime wake up can see battery drain a lot with phone idling / doing nothing (11pm ~ 6am) around 5~8%

Add on at home:

1) 2 airtags
2) 1 airpods pro gen 2
3) wearing apple watch

Find My app - Location set to "while using the app" and precision location turn on

So far it’s OK for me. When I first used on the 16PM yes but now I switched to 17PM, battery life seems fine but it’s a new phone so hard to say.
I have been having this issue since 15PM and I even removed my AirTag when not in use but doesn’t help. So let it be, I already live with it. I have the same stuff as yours.
*
I remember i noticed this issue also within the 3 years usage of my iPhone 14 pro until i forgot about it cause battery of 14 Pro also degrading.

But first week of using 17Pro the Find My doesn't eat much until starting of 3rd week (which is 2 days ago), hmm..

Gonna try low power mode during night time and monitor again.

I remember there's one Youtuber's video also appearing this moment.

Cant wait for the next update..

My wifi & bluetooth disconnected dayem 10x bad yesterday during travelling..

Hotspot to my kids keep disconnected..
My earphone bluetooth keep disconnected..

Never had such issue ever earlier.. really 10x bad bugs.. if only can easily reverse back to prev rev, i would have done so.. haih..

Did you accidentally forgot you have add some "shortcuts" to do such things ?

Example : Leaving own home > turn off wifi / bluetooth

How to :
Automatically disable Wi-Fi when leaving home, use the Shortcuts app to create a location-based automation. Open Shortcuts, go to the "Automation" tab, and create a new personal automation triggered by "Leave". Set your home as the location and then add the "Set Wi-Fi" action, configuring it to "Off" when you leave

QUOTE(Matchy @ Nov 5 2025, 11:06 AM)
just updated to ios26 yesterday... the battery drain is damn obvious for me. normally my battery is at least 85% from 7am to 11am. Now already down to 79%.
*
Weird, almost identical to mine normally

charged and unplug 7:42AM with 85%
Got use on and off middle with screen active 46m and screen idle 58m

11:35AM now sitting with 79%

But normally my usage is average 2%/ hour per daily

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 5 2025, 09:58 AM)
Just saying I may change. tongue.gif

Anyway, is this normal that iOS 26.1 auto switches to low power mode when it drops to below 20%? I woke up to 19% battery and it’s on low power mode. hmm.gif

OK, figured it out. It’s due to the Adaptive Power. I think it was turned on earlier when I upgraded to iOS 26 but I don’t recall such feature that will auto change to low power mode if below 20%.
*
Yea, iPhone will turn on low power mode when below 20%

ios 26.01 only drain 2% overnight, but 26.1 drain 8%  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

I only experience 1~2% drop since launch (19.09.2025) for around 1 week

After that normally overnight 5~7% drain even battery usage shows nothing

not very sure to be frank.

becos my plan will not have excess usage charge, fixed price. so i do not worry about this part.

but if u disable voicemail at telco level, i think no need to worry about this.
becos some telco will charge overseas incoming calls charge if u are in overseas and someone left u a voicemail.
*
Yea, only scare oversea scam call coming and kenak voicemail

Guess need to be alert whether plan has disable voicemail or not

26.2 macam ok ok smile.gif

My 17 Pro battery after 3 days usage done charging 100% on Saturday morning 8:17am last me till Monday morning 6am with 39% left

Monday unplug 90% in morning 7:45am and this morning still left 45%
Daily normal usage with mild photo/video roughly eat 30~40%

But the most annoying part still midnight consumption is high still!
Why sleeping time (10pm ~ 6am) without using still can drop 4~7%

The Watch app on the phone is buggy. Not so smooth when scrolling through the app.
*
Speaking of watch =.=

I just realised why my battery drained so fast roughly few months ago after one WatchOS update where battery will totally kong 0% before even hitting 5pm

Culprit is the Display setting there "Always on" become "ON"
Found this issue when i normally can use palm to cover screen to make display off :\
Unable to Palm it when setting is "ON"

Now my series 7 (battery health 72%) still can last whole day with 30~40% when back home at 6pm
