QUOTE(scorgio @ Jun 9 2025, 01:24 PM) Pantai Dickson. that is further down south.Pantai Pasir Panjang. Or further down just after N9/Melaka border, Kuala Sungai Baru. is the PD beach near at McD/Zus area ok? I actually expect to go to this northern part only. Personally I prefer Bagan Lalang. Can sit and dine at the various seafood restaurants and watch the sunset, or look ant the cranes opposite the port. And when high tide, strong winds blowing at your face.
Bagan lalang is less crowded and commercialised as well. The eaters are not really clear. |

I remember going before MCO and some of their rooms are clearly run down Now, it's a lot better and I like their beach in PD because it is on another side which is not near the usual public beaches hkhk@kit liked this post

near the tanjung biru or the pantai cermin. you know the one side is white sand then opposite side is red sand. that one quite ok, meaning boleh tahan la. not so clean but better than nothing.

PD used to have the best beach for families because easy access, public facilities, no strong undercurrents, a few places with rocks under the water... very safe...
then for some reason, authorities approved buildings by the beach, this suddenly became private beach and outsiders cannot use.. over the years, more and more private projects blocked the good beaches, leaving on a few open to public.. oldies will remember 11th, 13th, blue lagoon, shah motel etc |
