They say AI will remove all middle management positions in the company, it turned out that was only half truth and a LIE!

Warehouse sorters? Packing? Delivery Grab? All these jobs were supposed to be entry level jobs our grandparents/parents took up for their part time pocket money side jobs while they were studying or during their internships. AI will now take away half of those roles?

Because Higher Management & C-Suite Owners can already perform analytics and surveillance with AI instead of these lazy, incompetent, non compliant, entitled, unproductive bunch of cronyism middle managers who are paid with high salaries?

Why would they need to pay middle managers high salaries to keep an eye on the the peasants/laborers when they can have AI do the surveillance/monitoring 24/7 for free?

Middle managers are no different than peasants/laborers also humans that will lie and snake when the big boss is not around.

To the big boss/C-Suites/Dept Head, middle managers salaries are not worth paying because they too are humans that cannot be trusted fully unless own family/very close friends.

Proof?

Now hiring market if you look at job ads, vacant middle managers/execs positions are now becoming scarce.
Hirers are now very careful when hiring senior exec levels above.

If not, their roles are usually overglorified positions and an excuse to avoid paying OT benefits.

Petronas recent move to lay off 10% cut comes mostly from this level of mid management/execs. They are one of the most redundant and overpaid grades that companies always reduced first before the low tier or upper tier.

In the company where i wash toilet, i talk to engineers. They train AI to do engineering job. Not train AI to manage people.
