Car spare part bought from Shopee can use? I see they are much cheaper and claim as original...plus a lot of good (or fake?) reviews with many buyers...

There are few reputable sellers.
I assume your car is out of warranty and you are using your own trusted mechanic.
Should be no problem as long as you order the correct parts for your car.

Ask seller to send high resolution video with the name tag. Then use it for dispute

They will label 2nd Hand, OEM or original.

At the price you can easily buy 3X or more. Free return to CCP land within 7 days if you are Taobao VIP.

i would just give the foreman to buy it

if u buy outside and shit went south ..u need pay additional labor to remove and go for warranty

u buy part > let workshop install (labor cost A)
shit happen > let workshop to remove (labor cost B)
warranty come back > reinstall (labor cost C)

About 50% cheaper...that's why I don't know it's real or fake cause all also self claim original.

Example Mazda CX5's lower arm bush. Ori cost about 660 but Shopee selling from 200-400 hmm.gif

Shopee got Vanli.
If they don't have the listing of your parts, can give them a chat shoutout. Usually can book and parts arrive in 2-3 days.

I buy from Taobao before. Mostly OEM stuffs like switches. Still ok. For important parts like brake, rotors or motors, better get from reputable shops.
Vanli sell both original and OEM. Just tell them what's needed and they'll provide different prices.

In Taobao if you get bad rating, is almost doomed.

Besides, there is 7 days free return. Why need to worry?

I bought few original items from shoppe few times.
Everything was ok until I had 1 case where the shop said its fake piece and he claim to use their own parts. Turn out their own parts also didnt fix the issue but I had to pay double from shoppe price. Now I bugging them until they fix it with reason 'saya sudah pakai barang kedai you ma - apsal tak elok lagi'

The best part is, the parts bought from shoppe returned to seller in bad condition (oily and not ori box) without any question ask and they refund my money 100% within a day.

The problem is warranty.

If the part kaputs your car how? U blame the mech and the mech blames u.

At one time the timing belt snapped on my engine and I blamed the mech for it. Because the parts came from them, they compensated me for the trouble and replaced the head FOC plus free service for 1 year.

If oil filtering not done properly, then it will cause your engine to have more sludge and impurities, which decrease the performance in the long run.

Things which frequently have to change is more critical, else they won't require us to change that frequent

Need to be clever a bit. Normally I just opt to buy Original parts manufacturer without the car brand logo. Example, air filter I buy denso cool gear, brake caliper from advics. If buy Toyota brand sure high likelihood of fake

Choose from legit seller...
Even you buy from the workshop servicing your car don't dare warranty you... Like absorbers, mounting...sumore they mark up 30-40%
I rather buy online and sent to my trusted service shop.
Don't mind they charged me workmanship, already jimat from buying online....

For the old Myvi 1.3 that i'm driving.

Engine mount RM360-400 bought twice with price increase in the last 5 years. If got from spare parts shop RM500. 1st i bought original perodua. but thats not available anymore, so i bought an OEM one.

All the small replacement parts like battery tray, rim center caps, air filter housing bushing, brake fluid, i bought online.

The rest i got it from mechanic shop because of warranty.

Not a DIY person. Not exactly will buy the cheapest la but buy original with cheaper price online compared to buy from shop. Then only bring to shop pasang let them charge labor.
