Woody, spicy smell tend to last the longest regardless of all weather Fresh citrusy smell will evaporate the fastest. Smoky, leathery smell will change depending on temperature. Tend to stink in warmer environment. Gourmand smells the best in cooler temperatures, definitely will feel icky in malaysian outdoor climate. Floral smell depends la. White floral is the strongest and last the longest. (Jasmine, tuberose). They tend to be in a lot of base smells. Want beast mode longevity, go for arab perfumes. They tend to have a lot of rich woody smell, many varieties to choose from, and for far cheaper prices. And in malaysia climate u can pretty much ignore the top notes. Focus more on base notes and middle notes. Expensive doesn’t always mean last the longest. For example, tom ford neroli portofino and lv imagination, lasts like a fart if compared to mid ranges like lattafa. But the former are mostly citrus, and the latter has a lot of woody bases. So yea. Do ur research first, dont get duped into believing brand name = always good JimbeamofNRT liked this post

Not all the branded ones will last. It still depends on other factors
Don't believe the edp edt shit too it's just marketing Above average perfume should last 8 hours on you, an acceptable one is 5 hours. Anything below not worth |

QUOTE(gahpadu @ Jun 10 2025, 07:11 PM) care to share the brand? i usually go for branded dupe like harumme, larome, amad maison, szindore, lattafa etc but they usually cost around rm80-100 per bottle. interested to know what dupe below rm50 is good. do they smell the same or just an inspiration version? zara produces good dupes too imho but too bad they have increased their price alot over the past few years. |

I prefer polite scent. Those projection bombs are very rude.
YSL L'homme is a good one. Currently using Gucci Pour Homme II. |
