So why boast that your economy has overtaken Japan huh?

The average Bharatian has only 1/10 the purchasing power of an average Japanese.

Quality >>> Quantity.

Don't forget 1.5B mouth to feed with 1/10 the resources. laugh.gif

If you count gdp per capita, China is far from number 2 also.

“ In 2025, the US had a significantly higher GDP per capita than China. The US per capita GDP was around $89,680, while China's was $13,870,”

How now? China very poor compared to US kah?

US has the MOST Billionaires by country compared to any other country.

The key is here is balance in wealth distribution to eradicate hardcore poverty.

Topic here is Bharat recently BOASTED that their economy has surpassed Japan. Is the rest of the world laughing?

You still haven’t Answered the question. If you only follow gdp per capita, is China poor?

My point is, its not wrong for Bharat to say that its economy surpassed Japan because its GDP truly did. So what’s your argument there? Why for Bharat, you say GDP per capita is more important but for China, you say its not important?

I’m not sure how rich Bharat really is, but the numbers don’t lie. It really is getting richer. There’s a lot of problem tgere like their population issue, of course. But, how is it wrong to say that their GDP surpassed Japan?
