QUOTE(freeknd @ Jun 3 2025, 04:38 PM) If u r referring to the lizard in the video, we have that type here...and that's just medium-sized; the bigger ones can be 4-5cm longer with skin that resembles tree bark. They make a CHOK CHOK noise, deeper and louder than the normal house geckos' CHAK CHAK CHAK call. I have observed them stalking and hunting smaller lizards to eat. nabs2205 liked this post

Last time I grabbed the lizard the one that is similar to chameleon type inside my house. That one bite me but I dont feel pain because the teeth is so small. So I grab its tail and its actually escaped while making its tail cut off like a gecko. Next time if I see another one will not touch the tail again.

I was one of those fools that believed so, back then it was all over the news, believing that tokay gecko can cure aids, hence some were even got sold for quite a hefty price... we're talking about 5 to 6 digit numbers depending on its size... QUOTE(Acher13 @ Jun 4 2025, 06:02 AM) nope, I thought I could make it a pet, make him bigger and sell it while the trend was hot, but it died due to stress, even though I already make the terrarium like a jungle deco. But one thing for sure is the tokay gecko bite force is hecking strong for it size. My finger drew blood from its bite. This post has been edited by Mr.Capel: Jun 4 2025, 07:21 AM |
