it depends.

I'm using a set of AT tyre on my T30 xtrail. Actually better an expected and loads better than the factory OE dunlops it had. Much better grip in dry and hydroplaning resistance, wear is also good. only slightly noisy due to AT thread. Off road traction also quite good on slightly muddy and rutted roads....

No choice, went with china brand because no other manufacturer makes AT sizes my car takes. Pretty happy with it so far though.


but as for TS, that price you can get more established brands for not much more.

PS series has been my go to tyre when they still had 15" sizes. Went through many sets with no complaints. About the best daily/sporty tyre money can buy. Not the best grip in the dry but very very balanced all rounder sporty tyre. Never had a flat in like 4 sets of them. What I like best on the PS series is the very gentle breakaway characteristics at the limit giving you ample time to do corrective adjustments. It's one tyre that won't bite you back if you go over the edge unlike some more aggressive tyre.

Now my go to Michelins are the pilot sports 6 for my bikes. About the best general use sporty Touring tyre money can buy. Hardly drive now.
