Since you are going to buy the new iPhone air:
1. You can convert the current physical SIM to eSIM on iPhone 15. Just go to settings>cellulor data, click on your hotlink number and there is option to convert to eSIM. The conversion is immediate.
2. After you got the new iPhone air, finish setup the iPhone using wifi. Then go to Settings>Mobile Data>add eSIM, choose transfer from nearby phone and follow the process.

No need the hassle of going to Maxis centre to request eSIM now. Mostly people reported that for Maxis, the eSIM transfer does not work during initial setup, have to finish setting up the new iPhone and then transfer from mobile data settings.

Did more research between iPhone 17 vs 16 Pro... frankly the A19 really whack the A18 Pro kaw kaw, even with 1 less GPU core. And since both also 8GB the 16 Pro don't really have any upside.

Which comes down to all the Pro features like faster USB-C, ProRaw, Prores Log (3 features for people do shooting), the telephoto lens with 8x optical, LiDAR and better fusion cameras with bigger sensors.

17 you get better selfie camera, better battery life, better performance.. Ini 17 really... one of the best base iPhones ever.. ok la.. i shall wait for sales later and see butt itchy or not.

Was iPhone 16 this hot?

Initially I didn’t like the colors. But watching more videos Sage seems to grow on me.

Every year this will always be the dilemma.. either trade in with high value or wait till big vouchers but phone almost outdated by that time. If upgrade every year, there’s no difference which route to take, either faster or slower but overall cost is the same

Anyways , 16 pro max to 17 although tempting will still be downgrade overall. Actually iPhones camera without lidar got difference even if Apple doesn’t tell. Especially low light and moving subjects. Also overall photo size will be bigger based on experience upgrading sidegrading downgrading in never ending iPhone cycles

Just touch and saw the real phones today and I must say the only one that attracts me is the Air 😝
But price and specs not ngam. If only Air have the ultra wide or priced like the 17. I cant accept paying more for less

The colors at the back also look a bit weird for me. Some colors like white looks like the white protective sticker for the front glass lol- really ugly. It’s the texture I think or lack of.

During launch is always like that. Demand will cool down and stocks will replenish. Thats where the discounts will come in. It happens every year.

Nope. The demand for the 17 seems better than the 16.

If you want to feel difference in your upgrade then wait for a few years before upgrading. If you upgrade every year you really cant tell the difference.

all middle of oct. Currently ip17, pro and pro max same fate. only Air available. you can check from apple website (below delivery or TRX pick up date)

Base 17 all colours and storage options 2-3 weeks delivery on Apple’s website. Air all options “In Stock”.

Try weekdays and camp in the morning, sometimes they restock….weekends mostly gone..

checking in with the new iphone 17, ordered on 22, got notified to collect on 26. today only free to go collect at UR Tamarind Square.

their bank vouchers/rebate is same as Switch. as my only cards that has offer is pbb, so only dapat 100 voucher. SC and Affin bank got 36 months installment but no promos.
got their clear case + clear tg + lens cover for 99.

No one got real user feedback for the Air? Just wanna know about the battery life. 1 camera is enough for me.
