Because hot bending require special glue on it , so it's different from the normal temp glass , to apply hot bending temp glass , it need to using ROLL method , or else your screen will full of bubble (when the 1st version out , they give the manual roller , but alot user fail in china) that the reason why now they come directly with a roller installation case , the normal Temp Glass is like when u putting on your phone , it will automatic absorb , so totally different thing.

So far i know that only hot bending able to give u 99.9% coverage while stil can maintain THIN bezel.

the camera lense on 17 pro and 17 is it the same spec? even thoo they are all 48mega pix

The ultra wide should be same , but the main camera of ip17 should be a little diff by not much.
