Just to give you all an update. My streamyx application has been illegally
cancelled by unscrupulous resellers who couldn't obtain the application IC
fotocopy.I found out this morning after I couldn't get an active dsl line
and called up Telekom/tmnet to check only to find my application has been
cancelled illegally. If not, by yesterday (sunday )I would've gotten my
streamyx.I have to re-register again today (monday) and Telekom assured me
the reseller scums can't cancel it again and I would be able to go online by
wednesday. We shall see. The thing about all this shit is if you're able to
bypass the middlemen, they will do stuff to f*** you up to teach you a
lesson. I did not apply through any reseller but direct through tmpoint
centers but somehow these resellers got the application info and got pissed
off they couldn't dig money off me trying to sell me their modems and
packages and shit. One threatened to cancel my application after I refused to
entertain them. I called up telekom and was assured they already have the
IC/application info and I don't need to provide the info to anyone else,
even to resellers but somehow these resellers managed to get my application
cancelled, along with many others who applied to telekom/tmnet directly,
bypassing the unscrupulous resellers.I guess that b**** really carried out
her threat. Too bad I can't trace their company name, only have their mobile
number which probably wouldn't be of much use.

make police report, and also make report to consumer tribunal... not guarantee that will help or can teach them a good lesson, but thats the legal way... illegal way also have if you like, call up some gangsters and pay them to disturb her life a little bit, so that she would learn some lesson....dont try that illegal way aa.. if you try, your responsibility!

This kind of shit happened to me too, I was applying at TM Point, filled in the form and etc right there and then after a few days a reseller called me to fax in my photocopy of NRIC to him. But somehow I've managed to get online within few days. Until now... I still havent fax my IC. laugh.gif
