zirkzee not a 9 .. hoilan not a 9 forced to play there .. amorim system really need a 9 but because of no service, cunha mbuemo is there to provide something because our winger who forced to play 10 were all selfish, a 10 specialist forced to play deep, and mount is not reliable

imho, i dont think bruno decision to stay can help amorim, unless he willing to change his formation and build the team around bruno.

lets think about it. bruno is now 30 and he is the most hardworking player in the current squad. his age is catching up. maybe for some, he can switched to deep-lying role but you must remember, amorim dont play with deep-lying midfilder. if he dont want to change, that means he will keep playing with wing-backs and 2 holding midfilder dogs, and bruno is never that kind of dogs lulz.. by playing bruno in deeper role really wasting his potential providing creativity at final 3rd area. the zero-goal from the previous match has proved it, and it was not because of hoilan alone, its actually always about the lack of service and poor decision making in that final 3rd. so i think we might suffer again next season. when bruno is undropable, playing deeper means amorim hv to sacrifice 1 of the holding midfielder role. with cunha and mbuemo coming, bruno will stuck at that deeper role like forever. so whats the point keeping bruno really?

my definition of 9 is more a goal poacher and good at pressing at front.. ruud was not a 9 so he is exceptional ... my definition of 9 is more like cavani, cole, shearer .. hoilan is shit for that role, just look at his positioning, how many heading opportunity did he created like really fail .. i dont think he was that 9 .. more like 2nd striker bring the ball forward.. he is similar to zirkzee stay deep and collect the ball.. wasted that 9 space.. thats my own opinion based on the way he play under amorim

he can work under ten hag system because ten hag uses wide forward to give goals ..zirkzee hoilan shud work well in this setup but yeah ten hag got sacked so we never get the chance to see their full potential ..

but amorim system, i still think he need a poacher type of forward.. but of coz i can be wrong.. but facts is ther to see

i dont think most sane fans will say bruno is shit. in some games yes but not his fault.
its about the rebuilding process under amorim system. in 343, bruno supposed to be one of the 10s, thats his best position where he has more freedom. playing in the middle in this sytem requires discipline and a lot of running to cover that area. its like kante-jorginho in tuchel, or modric-kroos in madrid, they dont keep spraying and loosing position as they like ..so, what makes you think next season will be different if amorim keep playing bruno there? it doesnt fit the purpose of 343 according to himself, a running dogs. and again, why that pivot is crucial to his system? because he use wingbacks! they will join the attacking, crossing, overlapping, that pivot must have a very discipline player. and if player like bruno cannot spray hollywood passes, you limit his ability because the bruno that i know always take risk, players like this is important at front. bruno never fit that pivot profile. so, keeping him is like defeat amorim purpose to rebuild., because as a captain, he cannot drop bruno. no more pivot, system will fail. now imagine if burno willing to change his style, play in deeper role, keep the ball, who is going to provie the creativity? now mbuemo cunha is coming. so you really think both players better than bruno? i dont think so. maybe amorim will change the style of play without changing his formation. thats like rebuilding the team around bruno, really??? does it make sense? for me, thats a terrible idea.

but hopefully amorim can prove the fans wrong by keeping bruno, to prove that he can rebuild this shit team around bruno.

lets take pirlo as study case, a 10 switch to deep-lying midfilder .. in his ancelotti era, he plays with the best back-4 in the world behind him.
under conte, he plays with 4 hardworking midfielders infront of him in 352. this kind of player just jog around and spray some passes. is this what amorim have in mind? maybe .. but in 343? pirlo will suffer and look like shit
