#MUFC have narrowed down their Striker list to two names: Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko.

No decision has been made yet, but contacts are ongoing.

Nicolas Jackson has been RULED OUT due to Chelsea's demands.

Pity Newcastle

Whoever they want ended up joined other team

And they going to lose Isak soon

Without Isak they are just a mid table team

They bid Cunha…. Cunha joined us
They bid Mbeumo…. Mbeumo joined us
They bidding Sesko……

If we get both, top 6 minimum if not Amorim can go

This line up if given to Mou, he can easily get top 3 for us

Brentford, Bournemouth pretty much dismantled already especially Bournemouth, 3 of the back 4 gone, Brentford head coach + Mbeumo now Wissa also wanted to leave

This season can clearly see the big 4 (Pool Arsenal Chelsea City) will be there and the rest will battling for 5 to 8

Liverpool pull out from Isak deal
Isak boycott now become backfire LOL

This transfer window both Sweden strikers make noises, if Zlatan still there he could have kick both Gyo and Isak face

If a club that qualify UCL every year like Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea then maybe UCL will be factor.

Newcastle? Not really. More o less Europa challenger like us.
Only qualify due to extra spot….
The problem is our last season performance are too bad…
That the only drop point.

Oh ya
Plus stingy owner. 😁

Newcastle this city is worst than Manchester, whole year cold and raining, not a place many want to go

Newcastle not spending from start of transfer window then suddenly 80m bid.

If they can spend on better CB overall team better than MU
*
Whoever they bid ended up joining other teams

Bid Delap, join Chelsea
Bid Cunha, join us
Bid Mbeumo, join us

The only huge transfer was Elanga

Now they are in the midst of losing their main man

Without Isak, Newcastle just very average team jer

🚨 Man United's new stadium plans are facing delays due to a standoff over the price of land needed to begin work on the construction of the new stadium. The club want land used as a rail freight terminal to complete the Old Trafford Regeneration Project.

Haulage company Freightliner, who own the terminal, want around £400 million for the land, with United valuing it at around £40-50 million. Sir Ratcliffe has made it clear United are unwilling to accept the asking price set by Freightliner’s parent company, Brookfield. Initial discussions are believed to have reached an impasse. Watched the early morning game
Mbeumo really need to go thru proper diet and heavy fitness program, his stamina cannot last long with high intensity

Mbeumo can play upfront if opponent is playing pressing game, if opponent sit back and playing low block game, his height disadvantage not suitable, and we need a proper striker now

First half was good, second half was the usual team we see last season

Dorgu improve a lot, Dalot is pure shit now

Mainoo improved in terms of physically and his game play

Agreed .. and 3 - 5 - 2 formation..tak sesuai untuk game liga all season .. 38 game ..

The club direction is playing 3 CB now, even if they sack Amorim, the next manager also needs to have experience playing this system.

If every time change manager and every manager using diff system, from 3421 to 4231 to 433 to 4222 or classic 4411/442, then it is hard to rise again

Imagine Amorim get sacked, hire another manager playing standard 4231, then this batch of players who are train to play with 3421 will have train again for new system, if some of the players not fit or not like by new manager, another round of purchase or sell

i think most of the fans already know the problem.
the board just like to repeat the same mistake.

dof is crucial. identify the style of play. what kind of football. start the player profile. hire the manager who can fit that style. and then backed the manager with transfers.

in amorim, they so bodo. simply hire him because he was coming from champion team. without proper transfers.but not just that, amorim also shit. so it become worse.

why amorim shit? because he use 343 even when losing to spurs in final. shit formation, shit style of play. and nothing change. and then go buy winger to play out of position. thats super shit.
congratz

The board was mistake at first, renew Ten Hag then last year transfer back him a bit, then at the same time buy someone not fit for him, De Ligt and Mazra obviously was Ten Hag’s choice but Yoro, Ugarte not his choice.

The way they bought Yoro and Ugarte already knowing they wanted to set style of play for the future and playing back 3 is what they are heading to.

3421 required high intensity from both wing back and a lot of wide run plus overloads but the team not train for that formation. Full back or winger always confused on the positioning

As for why Mbeumo was playing upfront and you looking at the current striker we have

Hojlund - will you trust him over Mbeumo?
Zirkzee - he is good as connecting the play and some slick passes but finishing not his best

Who else we got then?

Mbeumo played upfront one season in Brentford during Toney was suspended for illegal betting, yes not as good as he playing the attacking midfielder role but overall still better than Hojlund and Zirkzee

Amorim message is to tell the board to him a proper striker, if no striker, we will just good in passing, possession but no finishing like last year.

Amorim is not shit, he just doesn’t trust Hojlund.

Let’s said we get Sesko or whoever at the end, both AM roles will occupied by Cunha and Mbeumo, this leave Bruno no where to play….

Where do you want him to play then if get Sesko/Watkins or whoever since you don’t like him playing a DLP role.

QUOTE(even_steven @ Aug 5 2025, 07:58 PM)
Why does a manager have to change the tactic that he excel at and really understand just to fit an aging player like Bruno?

The players need to adapt into the manager's system or leave. Even SAF buy players that suited his system and to do the role that he have in mind.

Why must other managers be otherwise? You expect a manager to excel, yet you force him to use players that doesn't suit his system.

Moyes, LVG, Mourinho, ETH, and Amorim all have their own system before coming to United but not enough support from the club to get the player that they wanted.

Even Pep took some times to get the player that suited his system at City before becoming champion.

This might be an unpopular opinion but Bruno should've been sold or leave the club. We cannot build a team around him to move forward.

Each time he's on the pitch, all the players keep on trying to find him to move forward instead of thinking and moving independently.

This limit the team movement, the flow and hampered the creativity. We need multiple players that can create chances and not just Bruno.

Should have been accepted the 150M from Al Hilal in June
