There is no law against a condo built beside school. I can give tons of example condo/apartment beside a school

The land also owned by developer, they can build anything they want as long its not a factory, utility (tnb, indah water) or industrial building use that comes with certain restrictions

What you talking about?

In Singapore they put schools alongside HDB condos to promote urban walkability for school children from their home to the school

What Desa Park City doing is good.. instead of kids being ferried by hundred or cars and long distance between their home and school, now the family have option to live just beside the school and their kids can now commute easily and safely by walking
