I am in the same situation, dunno want to go or not, no go - I can give higher ang pow, go - time, money and risk of accident, since will be travelling alone.

If China EV at least can depend on some driver assistance and maybe can stay in the car.

4hrs min. Don't ever trust China EV's driver assistance. Be ready to manually take over steering within 2 sec as they can revert from driving assistance anytime. Overwise, you will be another "mobile crematorium" victim.

Alone, it would be better to take a train, 3 hours trip. Easing the process, allowing for relaxation, providing coffee breaks, and decreasing the chance of accidents to a minimum.

A bus takes 5-5.5 hours. And it is already traveling very fast - about 100 kph whenever it can.

You want to drive faster than a bus?

Besides, if you have not been driving hundreds of kilometers daily like a bus driver, but is not new to highways (which means you will find driving boring), in late morning to early afternoon, it will be so hot that you may fall asleep while on the road. Unless you rest every half an hour, which means a 10 hour journey.

depends on a few factors

-weekday or weekend? weekend you can expect extra 1 hour due to road hoggers
-how many stops you plan to take? if you can do it without R&R, that's nice. bring some chocolate bar as lunch
-weather: bad weather also causes extra time to reach
-accident along the way: this also add extra travelling time
-your car condition: must service regularly and no tyre puncture along the way

assuming you are driving around 100km/h on weekend at 9/10AM, it takes about 4 hours to reach JB from KL (toll to toll)

to add on:

KL-MLK: 3-5 lanes, easier to overtake with road hoggers on the overtaking lane
MLK-JB: 2 lanes, this is the challenging part

don't forget about 2-3 AES (not too sure) along the way
