 First time hearing tosei melayu, What is the difference ? Anyone tried ?

Is it the same taste as regular tosei ? Not bad, keen to try it and check it out. I suppose the dipping is with gravy instead of chutney

I think can expect it to be like Nasi Lemak, made by Indian/Malay/Chinese can taste very different

No la, tosei must be made with fermentation..i think the gravy is different.

Just like roti canai, i once tried terengganu style, use perencah maggi kari, damn good. Bit sweet but nice

Indians in Malaysia are actually very generous in sharing recipes with others…

Seriously we are one malaysian. As long food is good. Once i went to india and tried their parata, terrible taste, i suspect because of peanut oil.

Ours is much better. If u visit penang, go to malay shop and try it, tasty. Because most of them make their own dough

Best thosai still made by South Indian restaurants. Mamak ones too thin and burnt.
