Malaysia will become a dumping ground for Chinese EV cars. Just have to wait it out. Now is new Ev cars and existing inventories, next will be second hand imported cars from China, it will be a flood of Ev cars until our local car producers will die out.

Ya you are right but if you walk into ByD, the amount of discount and goodies they give can easily bring it down below 100K. Also, with US Tariff and EU blocking entry of China EV cars, we are definitely the next port of call, they just have to reduce their price border to RM 100K. Wait till you see Sealion selling at RM 120K #soon.

Ya if BYD selling at RM 99 or 98K and perduo latest car coming out at RM 80K, would you rather buy an EV leader car by forking out another 20K or buy local producers first venture into EV cars?

Produa probably get their battery from ByD also.
