I forgot), but then it got vetoed by Mahathir who told Azmin Ali to find a way to do it and then a contract was given out to some consulting company to find a way to do it instead of just implementing this mykad way and then the government fell so all that money was wasted and nothing was implemented?

its a good and simple system though, just do it. Have to see also if someone driving some new S class and pumping subsidised petrol then need to send them to LHDN to be audited.

It shouldn't be unlimited lah, something like RM250 of subsidized petrol allowed per month.

Simple way to close all this loopholes. In fact RM250 is too much also, I never reach that much consumption in a month ever in my life.
