These kinda "lost land/continent" theories/books was very popular back 50, 100, 200 years ago, when we didn't map out the whole world and don't have the technology to scan under the seas. These are like the white man version of Mastika back in the day.

But we now have technology to see how deep the seas are etc. There is no way there is a lost land/continent that we can't find out.
