They have always finding ways to cram in more people per flight. Making seat rows closer allows for 1-2 more row of passengers increasing profits. Now making people lean allows for 5-7 rows.

Next time they will pack you in coffin that has gas to knock you out and they stack you like shipping containers in planes. This will double whatever capacity any plane allows today.

You will eat ze bugs and stand in the airplanes and own nothing by 2030.

your argument however suggests that people wont get it unless it is substantially cheaper, not if it will cater for more people or not.

and btw, i believe even if it is cheaper by 20%, people would still get it. i myself wouldnt mind saving a few bucks when i travel around locally

You may misunderstand the intention, upon intro, the current econ fare will be standing fare, the seatings one will increase price if still available…

Bodoh approach. To save cost it is better just to say zero luggage allowed. More passengers more luggage = more fuel cost which is not cheap.
