Petronas menghasilkan pelbagai jenis tong gas dari segi saiz dan kegunaannya.

1. TONG HIJAU - 12KG dikenali sebagai " Tong Domestik"
2. TONG HIJAU/MERAH - 14KG dikenali sebagai "Tong Domestik".
3. TONG UNGU - 14KG dikenali sebagai ''Tong Komersial/Industri/IKS"
4. TONG HIJAU - 50KG dikenali sebagai ''Tong Komersial/Industri/IKS"
5. SILINDER PUTIH - dikenali sebagai LPG Pukal, untuk kegunaan industri berat.

Tong gas purple ni adalah utk kegunaan peniaga kecil dan iks, seperti restoran dan dobi.

Apa beza dgn tong domestik 14 kg?

Jenis gas sama sahaja cuma harga yg berbeza.

Setong gas hijau merah bersubsidi, harganya RM26.60.

Setong gas purple pula tanpa subsidi, harganya RM70.

From 26 till 70 sure increase alot. But wont 300% so much. Probably increase at least rm1 per plate. They usually know how much their sales. So they can calculate how to cover back by increasing how much. But the bad one will not calculate straight increase.

This purple tank has been there for quite some time. It just that KPDN never enforce the usage for small trader.

I use for roughly 6 months for one 14 kg tong gas, cook daily for 3 people.

So one day, roughly use 15 sen. 1 head = 5 sen.

But this new purple tong gas cost almost 3 times, easily each food price will increase from 10 sen to 50 sen.

If they cook for one customer at a time, then yes, the cost will be even more higher.
